A mastery spell is a spell which grants a bonus to melee attacks with a certain weapon class. They are learned from using skill scrolls. The current mastery spells are:

The bonus damage is only to melee attacks with weapons of the corresponding type. This bonus is unique in that it is separate from other bonuses, instead of being added together. This means the actual damage increase is actually what it claims to be. See damage for details.

If used in state 'carried' the skill affects the character/monster carrying.


Caution: Monsters' elemental/neutral damage is modified by their statistics, which are in majority unknown.
