Since version 1.25 it has become advantageous to keep a tofu alive for several turns, because with each attack it reduces the enemy's agility and gains some for itself. At level 6 a tofu that has attacked for twice a turn for 5 turns will have +200 to agility and will have taken 200 agility from enemies.
Summoning of Tofu is the Osamodas' beginning summon spell. The Tofu is primarily your hit-and-run guy. One strategy is to get Summoning of Tofu to level 5 as quickly as possible and then get as much +summon items as you can to be able to spam Tofus to overwhelm the enemy. The tofu may sometimes detect invisible enemies.
Like all summons, tofu gains +1% to its base stats for each level of the summoner. The summoner's stats do not affect the summons'.
