From Dofus

Hello, I am one of your fellow Dofus players. I have been playing for almost a year now, and am currently a subscribed member. I am always eager to edit and explore this Wiki, learn of new builds and set strategies (especially for Xelors) and have made or fixed many pages.

If you have any questions about the game or a page on this site, post it in the talk page and I will be happy to answer them.

Also, please post any problems you have with my edits or incorrect pages in my talk page and I will be happy to check it up and edit the page accordingly. Please be sure to include the page name and the incorrect detail.

[edit] Edits on Xelor/Wisdom

There is a Summary below the editing box and above the "save page" button to do this sort of explications and avoid miss undestandings: Can you please explain the Strong edit you made to Xelor/Wisdom?--Cizagna 14:18, 18 October 2006 (UTC)

I'm sorry, in future i will use the summary box to explain edits. For the edit, there were many comments asking for the page to be deleted, as it was a bad guide and didn't make the most of the benefits of wisdom xelors. I have seen one and they can be a very powerful class, but none of what he did had anything to do with the guide. I Recreated it to make better sense, make more use of spells, equipment and stats, and try to save this powerful build from being deleted.

[edit] Preview

I recommend you click 'Show preview' before saving your edits, just to check that links etc work, and the edit look correct, instead of repeatedly re-rediting. Cheers. // Peet (Talk) 15:07, 19 October 2006 (UTC)

Yes, I do this but there's always something i miss with larger edits and then notice later :/

[edit] "Opinionated" edits

  • First of all, editing rules are the same all over the wikia, so there's no need to add speficic warnings to specific guides.
  • Then, the wikia is cooperative work. No-one is entitled to impose their own view, but all opinions *are welcome unless* a consensus arises about a comment not being appropriate. So, rather than negating other wikians' opinion, even if they express it too strongly, try merging all opinions so that all readers feel comfortable with the contents. That's what I tried to do with the "neutral rewrite" (I never played fecas).
  • You can't at the same time claim for "non-opinionated" contents and make such comments as "I thought I clearly stated that"... ;)
  • Thanks for your contributions to the wikia, anyaway

Yes, I understand all this, but I had recently removed a lot of comments that should have been on the talk page and put them on the talk page, only to find more. And the feca guide was so bad as to choose what spell to level, cloudy or natural. Most of the comments were like, "natural attack is so much better than cloudy" without any evidence supporting claims, or "I tried this and it didn't work". Instead of posting things like that on the main page, it should be on the talk page, or edited on the main.
As for the comments, thats what i do. I just re-write it so that it stands from a neutral point of view. Of all the pages I've seen, this was the most heavily commented. It was like a brick wall in a rundown street.
I just put the warning there to remind everyone of their rights and responsibilities of being able to edit the wikia.

[edit] hunter gathering

Can you confirm the changes you made in the hunter gathering as i test them for more than a week hunting mostly black tiwabits and they never drop a meat when only hunting blacks until i got level 30, or you are asuming because the rest has the tendency of the item level related with the hunter level? --Cizagna (Talk) 13:50, 19 May 2007 (UTC)

Yes, I have been hunting them for some time. I managed to drop some in a group of 5 Black Tiwabbits, but only once or twice. Maybe the drop is really rare until level 30 hunter? Because I can drop lots now *confused look*
