[edit] Notes

High AP loss resistance doesn't really help you out dodging the AP loss. With AP draining being affected by the caster, you are essentially attempting to steal your own AP, so it's all the same whether you have 0% AP resist, 50%, or even 200%. However, with Blinding Protection or Mummification, you can increase your AP resist, without increasing your wisdom, thus decreasing your chances of losing AP. As of 1.25, having fewer AP than you start the fight with increases your chances to avoid AP loss, so casting Devotion with only a few AP left greatly increases the probability you will avoid your own AP drain. Combined with Blinding Protection, you can easily avoid the AP loss most of the time.
