Story[]

Gerbsarg oversees a group of miners called Dhrillers that are digging caves much deeper than usual to look for new types of minerals and gemstones. Unfortunately there was an accident and some miners got trapped. We need to ask the Enutoughs in the area if they can help them out.

Obtaining[]

Talk to Grebsarg at [3,-4] in Auriferous Quarry.
Dialog

Hello. I don't have much time to stand and chat. I'm in charge of taking care of a group of miners, and on top of that I have to oversee the ongoing building works.

Find out more about the works.

The Alloyance called upon the Alliance of Drhillers with an I to dig the caves much deeper than usual. They think that, as well as discovering more of the usual goldmines, we might stumble across new types of mineral and precious gemstones to boost our meagre economy. It's a delicate operation because we're penetrating deeper than ever before, so the risk of accidents is higher than ever.

Ask if everything's going okay.

Actually, it's not. There's been an accident and several miners are trapped under a pile of rubble as we speak. I need all the help I can get to make sure they escape to safety. Would you ask the Enutoughs in the area to lend a hand?

Accept.

Step 1: Meeting the Enutoughs[]

Dialog

The Drhellers don't really care for newcomers, especially the Dimensional Voyagers, who've barged in here like they own the place, going so far as to disturb our animals in their dens, claiming to be acting in the name of science. You work for them, don't you?

Mention the miners' problem.

It's mighty unlucky. There's a reason we've stopped trying to dig to the very core of Enurado, you know. But you didn't answer my question: do you or do you not work for the Dimensional Voyagers?

Nod your head.
Shake your head.

There, I like honest people. Say, I don't suppose you've beaten the Drhossil up, have you?

Nod that you have.
Shake your head.

Just what I thought! So, back to your little miner story...What's in it for me?

Say that you suppose the miners will share the profits with them.

You suppose, but you can't guarantee anything...Hmmm. Smart move. Alright, I'll do my best to help them. I advise you to go and see Acoyancha, a Drheller tamer, because his animals are trained for rescue missions.

Located at [3,-3] (in Enurado). Choose the options that are true for your character. Nod your head for yes, or shake your head for no. If you lie the quest will not progress and you must try again. Tip: The correct answer is in the expansion of the queststep above, you only need to check whether or not you have defeated Dhrossil.

Dialog

What do you know, yet another hick! Leave me in peace, why don't you?

Mention the miners' problem.

I'm no Iop; I won't race headlong into a sticky situation just because someone's in trouble. Besides, how do I know you're telling the truth? Perhaps you're trying to hoodwink me, draw me into an ambush so you can steal the few kamas I have--kamas I earned with blood, sweat and tears, I'll have you know!

Try to cajole him into helping.

You can argue yourself hoarse; I'm not budging. Talk to my shovel, buddy.

Agree that caution is usually the wisest option.

Hrmm...Okay, I guess I believe you. I mean I'm not fully convinced, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. If you win, I'll go and help the miners. Do you have more than ten Orichor?

Say yes.
Say no.

Maybe we should go into business...I bet there are tons of kamas to be made...But anyway, back to the game. Have you fought and beaten a Rokforphage yet?

Nod your head.
Shake your head.

Did you know the members of the Alloyance are so afraid of thieves that they designed the Rokforphage for the sole purpose of keeping their smelly cheese safe? Personally, I prefer to keep my precious possessions in a house surrounded by lethal traps. Okay, one more question for the road: what do I get if I risk my life helping those miners you mentioned?

Admit that you don't know.
Their eternal gratitude.

Alright, you've convinced me. I'll go and give them a hand. I couldn't live with myself if anything happened to one of my peers.

Located at [2,-3] (in Enurado). Choose the options that are true for your character. Choose "Admit that you don't know" for the final question. If you lie the quest will not progress and you must try again.

Dialog

Hello. Come a little closer; I can't see very well. Centuries of working in the dark has done nothing for my eyes.

Step closer.
Mention the miners' problem.

Oh, we haven't worked on the core of Enurado for centuries! Back then, I was a strapping young Enutough, amazed by all the riches stretching out as far as the eye could see. That was until we got into a major pickle down there, a serious accident, see? We had to return to the surface and close the deep galleries for good. Since then, nobody's tried to go back...Ruddy place is cursed!

Bring the conversation back to the endangered miners.

Oh yes, the miners...Well, it's like I always say: children shouldn't do grown-ups' work. Their parents ought to be ashamed of themselves!

Ask for his Drhellers' help.

It's not everyday someone comes to say hello to an old man like me...For that, I'll let you use my little wonders. Take care of them, now! They're hard working and very affectionate. If you lose them, they'll find their way back here, but to punish you for your carelessness, I'll charge you 6,000 kamas to use them again.

Located at [0,-5] (in Enurado). You must stand next to and directly in front of him. You will receive 1 Tamed Drhellers.

Step 2: Finish the Quest[]

Story: We managed to find some tame Dhrellers that will help rescue the miners.

Dialog
Hand over the tamed Drhellers.

Thanks a million. Foolk and Dryfontaine are already down there, and these Drhellers are going to make the rescue mission so much easier. Look, they've realised something's up and they're already hard at work. Williamwadui, how are you getting on?

You will lose 1 Tamed Drhellers.

Dialog

Blimey, it's boiling down there! I don't know how I bear it at my age, day after day. It's scandalous that they expect us to work in these conditions!

Ask if everything's alright.

Yes, and it would seem that I owe you my thanks. Please accept this as a symbol of my gratitude: it's a jewel from the core of Enurado, found long, long ago.

Take the jewel.

Located at [3,-4] (in Enurado).

Story: Williamwadui gives us a jewel as a reward for our help.
