Insolent Bramble can be used with Earthquake and Poisoned Wind spells to make great combo. Intelligence penalty from Poisoned Wind can be removed with it. (Not as effective since a spell update, nullifying the full effectiveness of this strategy.)

Since a recent update, Insolent Bramble has been changed. It no longer dispells all effects instantly, but reduces the amount of turns they last by 4. For example, If you have a level 5 Poisoned Wind spell, and you use Insolent Bramble in the same turn, the effect of Poisoned Wind will last for 3 more turns instead of 7.
