NotesEdit

This spell inflicts neutral damage on your enemy based on a percentage (30%) of the caster's total HP. On a critical hit, this spell deals damage based on a higher percentage (35%).

Though the spell deals neutral damage, it is not boosted by Strength. Furthermore, percent damage increase nor +damage effects do not increase Punishment's damage output. Damage output is entirely dependent on the caster's total HP.

Damage calculation now reflects a symmetrical bell curve with a peak at 50% HP, as shown here. A reference table is provided here. Both sources are from Ankama.

The exact formula is:

\frac{\%max * (Cos(2\Pi(\%life - 0.5))+1)^{2}}{4}*MaxLife

Where %max is written "30%" or "0.3" on a normal hit and "35%" or "0.35" on a critical; MaxLife is the max HP of the Sacrier at the time; %life is what factor of the Sacrier's healthbar is full at the time of casting. The cosine function is calculated in radians. As an example for a non-crit at 40% health on 5000HP:

This spell has an initial cooldown of two turns after starting a fight, and if revived by an Osamodas.
