Soul Stones are a type of combat consumable.
Soul Stones are used to capture Monsters with the spell Soul Capture. A successful capture changes the Soul Stone into a Full Soul Stone. This can then be used to release the captured souls into the Arena to fight once more.
Full Soul Stones of certain monsters are also required for some Quests, mainly An Eternal Harvest and The Soul Stealer.
It should be noted that not all monsters are soulable - most Quest Monsters and Bounties cannot be souled.
Before entering the fight you will need to equip a Soul Stone in the Combat consumables slot, located to the right of the the Dofus/Trophy/Prysmaradite slots.
You can equip multiple Soul Stones of the same type, and only one will be used up per capture.
To capture a group of monsters, a Soul Stone must be powerful enough to capture all the monsters in the group.
For example: A level 50 monster can be captured in a Perfect Soul Stone for Small Souls, which can capture monsters up to level 50. A group with a level 50 monster and a level 51 monster will require at least a Perfect Soul Stone for Average Souls, which can capture monsters up to level 100 (higher level Soul Stones can be used if necessary, but there is no benefit).
