Raising your vitality does not increase the Prespics life. All summons gain +1% to their stats and +1% life with each level of the summoner. The main use of the Prespic is to take the oponents AP. It's always a useful thing to have, even with the higher level monsters. When summoning the Prespic, try to do so at close range. When you're far away from an enemy it tends to just run away. When summoning Prespic right next to you, it will activate it's skill Counter on you.
