Xelors are timelords who command obedience from all related mechanisms like chimes, clocks, and pendulums. Whether to slow down their enemies or teleport wherever they want, Xelors warp time to serve their own needs.

The Xelor or Xelor's Sandglass class are manipulators of time and space. They are experts at taking AP, possibly preventing enemies from being able to attack. As well as their AP taking abilities they can also boost their own, and their allies AP for a short time. They also receive temporary AP whenever they create a Telefrag with certain spells.

One of the main mechanics of the Xelor is to create Telefrags. Telefrags are applied when they teleport a unit (enemy, ally or themselves) into a square that is already occupied by another unit, causing them to switch places. This makes the Xelor a master map manipulator, using spells like Rewind, Teleportation and Rhol Bak to move both friend and foe across the map to create Telefrags. Many of the class' spells have more powerful or extra effects when used on anyone in the Telefrag state, and with it's summons relying on Telefrags to do anything.

Xelors can also deal good damage, they have three attack spell from each element (except Air which has a summon) which means that builds can vary a lot.

Agility Agi 1~100 101~200 201~300 301~∞ -

The characteristics most closely associated with this class are:

  • Intelligence Intelligence: The more traditional AP reducing build for a Xelor as the main two spells, Hand and Xelor's Sandglass both remove AP in addition to dealing damage, removing more AP from enemies in the Telefrag state. Their third Fire spell, Temporal Dust instead causes enemies in its area of effect that are in the Telefrag state to be teleported to the opposite side of the effect, using it's centre as a pivot point.
  • Agility Agility: A high damage option focused somewhat on creating Telefrags. Shriveling is a long-range, linear spell that deals additional damage to enemies in the Telefrag state. Frostbite is a low-cost spell that moves enemies back to their previous position, which can often cause a Telefrag effectively making the spell free. And the Synchro summon, which takes the place of the third Air spell, deals Air damage in a large AoE if it is Telefraged, also being healed and receiving additional Power once a turn when a Telefrag is created.
  • Strength Strength: Potentially the highest damage option at the cost of having shorter range than the other elements. Xelor's Punch deals high damage while teleporting it's target to the Xelor's opposite side. This allows them to easily create Telefrag's if they're surrounded. This combines with Dark Ray, which deals damage in a line, but has it's base damage doubled to anyone in the Telefrag state. Loss of Motivation is limited to being cast diagonally, making it harder to line up, but does have the added bonus of unbewitching its targets in the Telefrag state.
  • Chance Chance: With all three Water spells removing AP from their targets, Chance Xelors can quickly reduce their opponents effectiveness while dealing significant damage. Clock, in addition to removing AP from the enemy, also grants the Xelor bonus AP on their next turn. While Slow Down deals very low damage, it's decent range and cheap casting cost allows a Xelor to remove AP from several targets a turn. Time Theft has a nice middle ground between the two other spells, costing less than Clock to cast, but dealing significantly more damage than Slow Down. As with the Fire spells, all Water spells remove more AP from enemies in the Telefrag state.
  • Wisdom Wisdom: Xelors are one of the few classes which can have an effective Wisdom build. Wisdom Xelors have increased chances to take AP, as well as leveling faster. All this means you can have a formidable character with a Wisdom Xelor, though they might not hit too hard.
